Dearfoams Women's DF650 Slipper

Soft and pretty and ice-blue, these are the open-toe scuffs to have waiting next to the bed to greet your feet on chilly mornings. With uppers and insoles both of cushy terry, and a bendable rubber sole, these Dearfoam slippers will make your feet happy on your way to the kitchen for that first cup of coffee.
Customer Review: Plush!
I've been looking for this type of slipper for a while and couldn't find them in any store. Finally found these Dearfoams. They are so plush and comfy and I just love the colors! I will buy another pair when these wear out.
Customer Review: Light blue, open toe slippers
The Terry Scuff, Ice Blue, Medium slippers were a present for my wife. They arrived quickly, in plenty of time for Christmas, and she loves them. The open toes avoid pressing on her feet and they are very comfortable.

Does your area rug stand out (um, in a good way not a scary way) or does it seem to just disappear within your room?

The perfect area rug for you will feel like you are slipping on your favorite home slippers every time you step onto your rug.

If you feel that your area rug seems to disappear within your room, or it extremely stands out within your room (screaming here I am every time you walk into you room), or you simply are not sure what is the best area rug for your room then follow this guide on how to glamorously dress your floors (with a red carpet style fit for you):

Think of the size of your room:

if you want a cozy feeling to your room, consider a large rug to dress your floors
if you want a room to feel larger, then consider a smaller area rug (no puffy dress for your floors!)

Think of the size of your furniture within the room:

Maintain a balance by considering the size of your furniture in proportion to the size of your dress (um, I mean area rug).

For example:

in the dining room - make sure that when the seats are pulled that your chair doesn't fall off the rug.
in the bedroom - no need to invest in a huge area rug or carpet when most of the rug will be covered by your bed. Instead, try using rug tiles (www.FLOR.com) or runners to cushion your glamorous feet.

Think of the patterns within your rooms:

if you have large busy patterns, then glam your floor with a classic solid or semi-solid design patterns to maintain a color/pattern balanced design within your room.

if you have minimal design patterns within your room, then glam your floor with a "look at me" dress and choose area rugs with patterns that pick up the colors within your room.

Think of your budget:

Are you planning on bringing your "dress" to the cleaners or vacuuming it yourself? Choose accordingly.

Think of your style:

Do you want an area rug because you think it is the "correct" decorating thing-to-do or because you love the look and feel of an area rug? Some people LOVE the feel of hardwood floors. Remember decorate for your comfort, not for friends or family that stop by occasionally.

Just like jewelry or a tie can change the look of an outfit, so can a rug change the feel of a room. For example, wearing pearls with jeans or a tie with jeans can quickly upgrade your outfit (not too dressy and not too casual = a harmonious balance).

Is your personality pearls/ties with jeans, sporty, elegant, conservative? Reflect your "personality" at home and you will want to zooooom to your home every day after work not to escape from work, but to enjoy your home.

Special note: keep in mind that when decorating your room, you have to view your OVERALL design, not just one item - view how every item flows within the room (is it too big, too small, too dark, too light, too blah, etc.) Now go and glamorize - let your personality shine in your home!
